The author identifies a wonderful bit of journalistic leakage from&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/news\/john-cassidy\/donald-trump-is-transforming-the-g-o-p-into-a-populist-nativist-party\">John Cassidy writing in the New Yorker<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The rest of his essay is the usual horse-race malarkey that fascinates journalists and hides the important issues that he opens with \u2014 such as this astonishing statement\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>skeptical of \u2026 free trade, and military interventionism. \u2026 ending free trade, protecting Social Security, and providing basic health care.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Is Cassidy describing <em>Trump<\/em> or <em>Sanders<\/em>?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Curtis_Yarvin\">Curtis &#8220;Mencius Moldbug&#8221; Yarvin<\/a> observed in &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/An-Open-Letter-Open-Minded-Progressives-ebook\/dp\/B011DPHUDU\">An Open Letter to Open Minded Progressives<\/a>&#8220;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Often, as with politician, <strong>journalists speak the truth in a fit of absent-mindedness, when their real concern is something else.<\/strong>&#8220;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So true. I make it a sport now to pick up the accidental metadata of truth leakage from journalists.
