“The Muslim Council of Britain has taken the unprecedented step of writing to every British mosque, urging people to help in the fight against terror.
The letter asks for the “utmost vigilance” to help “safeguard” the UK.”
Finally the Muslim Council does something I approve of. The questions is though: Will it be ignored?
I do not mean to be a cynic, but I think this is mostly Muslim Council PR rather than a serious effort to help in the fight against terror. I would think that most mosques are not hotbeds of radicalism and terrorism, but the few that are need to be targeted forcefully. When real effort is expended, I am sure the Muslim Council will squeal loudly about Islamophobia and “rights”, the same rights a good Muslim could not grant to his own wife under Sharia (not to mention an infidel).
