Power Tools
NoteTab Pro, NoteTab Std - a very powerful text editor with hidden depths.
Mailbag http://www.fookes.com/ - a powerful utility for storing and managing large amounts of email.
Netcaptor - a powerful IE based tabbed browser and so much more, once you've tried tabs you'll be hooked!
ClipMate http://www.thornsoft.com/ just to show that we can all learn a trick or two :) I proposed ClipCachePlus for the 2003 Award only for other list members to point out that ClipMate (new version 6 out now) was far superior. I gave it a good testing and have to agree. Knowing what I do about ClipCachePlus I KNOW that ClipMate is a true Power Tool and everyone should be using it. This little app will save you buckets of time!
ClipCachePlus - download the trial version of this great windows clipboard enhancer.
TheBat! - a legend among email clients, power with precision.
Becky! http://www.rimarts.co.jp/ - many similar features to The Bat! but also displays HTML emails which some people prefer.
RoboForm - download the trial version of this invaluable surfing companion - it fills the forms so you don't have to!
MacroExpress http://www.macros.com - I use at least MacroExpress daily and would be lost without it.
PowerMarks http://www.kaylon.com - a truely powerful bookmark/favorite manager which unlike many doesn't rely on a folder structured approach to give you total control - once you get used to it you'll be hard pressed to do without it.
Nod32 http://www.nod32.com/home/home.htm - powerful and effective anti-virus which operates invisibly. Doesn't like many rely on just patern matching to catch viruses. Member discount available in the members only area.
Directory Opus http://www.gpsoft.com.au/ - the true powertooler's tool of choice for file management. Multi-threading of tasks is just one of it's many innovations. Member discount available in the members only area.
PowerDesk http://www.v-com.com/product/pd_ind.html a major contender for so long in the file manager stakes. The excellent FREE version of this filemanager is still available and can be downloaded here. The functionality has been eclipsed by Dopus (above) but for many PowerDesk is still a very attractive file management option.
File-Ex http://www.cottonwoodsw.com/ - turn your 'save as...' dialogues into a true powertool. Quite exceptional coding and implementation I'd really struggle without it now.
Coppernic Agent http://www.copernic.com - Searches many search engines/sites at once in many different areas. It saves so much time when you're looking for that needle in the haystack.
Copernic Shopper http://www.copernic.com - don't make a purchase decision without it, has some geographic limitations ie mainly for US and Europe but compares the prices at many leading online stores effortlessly - allowing you to sit back and make informed decisions.
Copernic Summarizer http://www.copernic.com - ever feel like your swamped with stuff to read? Summarizer does a truely awsome job of softing out the key concepts and summary of any digital text.
Zoot http://www.zootsoftware.com - a database par excellance, syncs with your outlook desktop and ensures you never loose that important note.
Keynote http://www.lodz.pdi.net/~eristic/free/index.html - another great way to store all your many notes.
BrainStorm http://www.brainstormsw.com/ - thinking power unleashed, once you get used to this powerful app you'll find yourself using it increasingly to structure your thinking and planning.
Mindmanager http://www.mindjet.com/ I really like this one, another thinking tool but this one uses graphical mindmaps to help you plan your projects. If you have to do a lot of planning this is a must have.
Fineprint http://www.fineprint.com/ - so easy to overlook once you're used to it, Fineprint seamlessly intregrates between your apps and your printer to provide you with powerful printing options in a couple of clicks.
PdfFactory http://www.fineprint.com/ from the makers of FinePrint, PdfFactory create a virtual printer which allows you to print anything out as a pdf file - very slick.
Power Pro http://www.windowspowerpro.com/ another true powerapp - if you can't do it with powerpro you probably didn't really want to anyway :)
