Although it is smaller than your thumb, the XPort contains all of the hardware and software required to Web-enable any device, including:

10Base-T/100Base-TX auto-sensing Ethernet connection

Mature, robust operating system

Embedded HTTP-compliant Web server

Programmable e-mail alerts

Extensive networking protocol suite including full TCP/IP stack

128-bit AES Rijndael encryption

Compact, Loaded, and Easy to Integrate
Because so much of the complex engineering and integration has already been done for you by Lantronix, the XPort offers the following:

Accelerated Time-to-Market: Whether working with an existing design or an all-new product, the XPort is a simple drop-in solution-so easy to integrate that it allows you to make Ethernet connectivity a standard product feature in less than 60 days.

Reduced Design Risk: Traditional networking solutions require hardware, a microprocessor, various kinds of software, and the networking expertise to integrate them all. In contrast, the XPort is already engineered, tested, and EMC-compliant, effectively eliminating much of the R&D and investment risk inherent in trying to network-enable an edge device.

"Roogle is a search engine for what is called a "RSS Feed". An RSS Feed is an XML tagged file which allows a website, news site or blog (actually any site) to provide to the world a list of its current contents. RSS feeds can contain all kinds of information from news to blog / weblog posts to stock quotes and more.

An RSS feed is generally not read in a web browser like a web page. Instead a special piece of software called a "News Aggregator" like Net News Wire or AmphetaDesk is used. What these products do is enable viewing of multiple RSS feeds in an easy fashion. If you read a lot of information on the web or like to keep up with things, you should definitely look into a News Aggregator.
The best analogy I've found for RSS feeds and Aggregators is this:

Imagine a world where new information, about anything you are interested in, comes to you -- not where you have to go find it."

Don't you just hate it when you receive junk e-mail? It's bad enough getting junk mail through your letterbox! I can't stand junk e-mail cluttering up my inbox, and when it finally got too much, I decided that enough was enough. I'll assume that if you're reading this, you've decided enough is enough too.
On this part of my site you will find resources and information that will hopefully help to ease the growing problem of spam. You'll also find what is possibly the biggest blacklist on the Internet - the GazNET Anti-Spam Protection File. Click the links in the left-hand column to take a look around.

POPFile is an automatic mail classification tool. Once properly set up and trained, it will work in the background of your computer, scanning mail as it arrives and filing it however you wish. Visualising Google

"A company specializing in uncovering criminal connections and terrorist networks has released a visualization tool that reveals hidden relationships in Google search results.

anacubis, a subsidiary of intelligence analytic software company i2 Group, has made its Google Viewer available for free download today. The anacubis Viewer automatically represents "entities," such as people, organizations and locations, as small graphic icons. It then shows the relationships between entities as specialized link types -- for example, president, business type, address, and so on.

With Google results, each web site is represented by a website icon. To get more information about a particular result, right click on its icon and select "expand links" or "expand related." Expanded results show linkages among and between particular web sites.

As you find more and more useful information, you can continually add it to an ongoing "view" of your results. To make the picture even more focused, you can filter unwanted results or delete them completely from the view.

Other tools allow you to rearrange the view and its linkages according to your own preferences. The anacubis Google Viewer is one of a growing number of tools that help you visualize web search results, showing relationships between them. I wrote about the TouchGraph Google viewer in January. I'll also be taking an in-depth look at visual metasearch engine Kartoo very soon.

If search results that go beyond a simple list of text results appeals to you, take a look at the anacubis Google Viewer."
