‘Serial litigant’ wins £30,000 by David Fisher
A RACE relations worker described as a ’serial litigant’ is to receive up to £30,000 compensation after she won a racism case against an equal rights group.
Natasha Sivanandan, 48, took Hackney Action for Racial Equality to a tribunal after it rejected three of her job applications.

The rating could bankrupt the small community law centre in North London.
Mrs Sivanandan’s litany of claims over victimisation, which have cost taxpayers £100,000, began in 1987 when she accused a black race adviser of being intimidating.
In 1993, she won a large undisclosed sum after accusing the BBC of racism.
Her latest victory was condemned by her father, Ambalavaner, a writer on racial affairs. He said her ‘constant claims’ had led to them falling out years ago.
Hackney Council, which funds the law centre, is set to appeal.
