Kirsty Mitchell

One of the benefits to being billeted to the frontier of civilisation is that one is very grateful for TV dramas in one’s own language  because there is a natural limit to how much Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, CNN and Sky News an organism can take.

I have tested this upper limit and I suffered for it.

Two nights ago I was enjoying a lame(ish) UK cop drama “In Deep” when I discovered Glaswegian beauty Kirsty Mitchell.

According to Filmbug:

Mitchell is half Italian and half Scottish. She trained as a dancer with the Scottish Ballet in Glasgow and studied drama and dance at the Central School of Ballet in London. Mitchell can be seen co-starring with Robert Duvall and Michael Keaton in the feature A Shot at Glory, which first screened at the Toronto Film Festival. Her other film work includes Legend Behind the Loch, The Granton Star Chase, and Small Faces. Mitchell’s television credits include Headless for Sanctuary Films and Looking After Jojo for the BBC. She has also appeared in the plays You’ll Have Had Your Hole, Cinderella, and Peter Pan.

She is 30 years old (born 28 June 1974),  5′ 8″ (1m73), a Cancer and very very beautiful.

Her career appears to be quite at the moment, but she I predict we will be seeing more of her soon.

Here follows the obligatory photos (safe for work):

I have not seen one movie that she has been in thats any good. Shes a poor actress and that mostly due to coming from ballet school. I personally know her from childhood….we went to the same drame/dance class. Just take a look at her movies and realize that she doesnt have the potential to make it in hollywood…..thats life. I admire Scottish legends such as Sean Connery. Does Kirsty have that gift or unusual hollywood beauty…..I think not. sorry dude to rain on your parade.
