“Police appealed for witnesses today after the brutal double rape of a 28-year-old woman as she walked home from her bus stop.
Two men pounced on the victim from behind…she broke free from their grasp and fled but the attackers chased her and caught up with her…Police said was then pushed over a wall into a grassed area in front of a block of flats and raped by both men.
…The suspects are black and wore dark glasses and black gloves. One wore a woolly hat with ears. Both smelt strongly of alcohol.
Police believe the attackers may have just left a local nightclub or other late-night venue.
