This made me sick. It tells you everything you need to know about the Islamist way of war.
From CNN (called “Crescent News Network” by Yoni):
“Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah apologized for an attack that killed two Israeli Arab children in northern Israel, saying the youngsters were “martyrs for Palestine.”" MORE
The murder of Israeli children is, of course, not only acceptable but the entire point of their rocket attacks on Israel. No apology for the murder of innocent children, only MUSLIM children count.
This should surprise no one, as Hezbollah are part of the same global Islamist movement which gave us Beslan.
These comments do however underscore the points made by Alan M. Dershowitz yesterday.
Hezbollah and Hamas, by contrast, deliberately operate military wings out of densely populated areas. They launch antipersonnel missiles with ball-bearing shrapnel, designed by Syria and Iran to maximize civilian casualties, and then hide from retaliation by living among civilians. If Israel decides not to go after them for fear of harming civilians, the terrorists win by continuing to have free rein in attacking civilians with rockets. If Israel does attack, and causes civilian casualties, the terrorists win a propaganda victory: The international community pounces on Israel for its “disproportionate” response. This chorus of condemnation actually encourages the terrorists to operate from civilian areas.
While Israel does everything reasonable to minimize civilian casualties - not always with success - Hezbollah and Hamas want to maximize civilian casualties on both sides. Islamic terrorists, a diplomat commented years ago, “have mastered the harsh arithmetic of pain. . . . Palestinian casualties play in their favor and Israeli casualties play in their favor.” These are groups that send children to die as suicide bombers, sometimes without the child knowing that he is being sacrificed.
Please keep in mind Hezbollah’s attitude to civilians next time you see their media spokesman given a platform on CNN as he was yesterday.
What follows is a transcript. The Hezbollah media spokesman, later identified as Hussein Nabulsi, took CNN’s Nic Robertson on a propaganda tour of the Beirut Hezbollah zone (like the Baghdad Green Zone) where only card carrying Hezbollah can go. The rant is complete with instructions on what to shoot . Marvel at the breathless hypocrisy of Hezbollah as they whine about “innocent civilians” and “civilian housing” whilst their rocket teams fire volley after volley into Israel. Unlike Israel, Hezbollah does not leaftlet areas about to be attacked warning all civilians to leave.
ROBERTSON: Where are we going now?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Now we are moving to where Israeli jet fighters bombed what it called Hezbollah headquarters. I am going to show you on the ground that this is — these are buildings inhabited by civilians, innocent civilians.
…ROBERTSON: And what happened here?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This is one of the bombs that fell. And look what happened to this building, which is all, like, inhabited by innocent civilians living there, people who are just working, like everybody else, no military bases, nothing, no anti-aircraft fire, just building, people living there.
ROBERTSON: How many people were — were killed and injured in this particular attack here?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Thanks God, people evacuated these buildings early. And, luckily, no one was killed in this — in such attacks.
But I want to tell you something. Where is the international community? Where is the Security Council? Where is the United Nations? Where is the whole world? We are under fire.
…ROBERTSON: How dangerous is it in this area at the moment?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It is very, very dangerous. It’s — we are now the most dangerous place in the most dangerous moment.
ROBERTSON: In civilian housing.
Well, what was here?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Just look. Shoot. It is civilians, buildings. Look at this building. Is it a military base? Is it a military base, or just civilians living in this building?
ROBERTSON: Are you going to have — go for this cease-fire? Are you have going to hand back the soldiers they asked for?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We always teach Israel a lesson. We always teach it a lesson. Now we will teach Israel a lesson, again. I tell Ehud Olmert we will not surrender. We will not surrender. We will not surrender.
ROBERTSON: Even though your civilians are coming under fire?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We are people, the sons of Hamas Hussein. We are ready to die for our cause, for our dignity. We will not live in humiliation. We will not live in humiliation. This is a war. Whether we achieve victory, whether we (INAUDIBLE) find the injustice or we will die. It’s better for us to die than to live in humiliation. OK, hurry up. Hurry up.
This, I will show you something. Excuse me. This is here, where they said secretary-general of Hezbollah is living. This is wrong. Here are civilians living in those buildings.
ROBERTSON: This looks like a bunker busting bomb has been used here to go down below ground level.
…ROBERTSON: How long is this going to go on for?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It’s up to Israel. Israel is the one that initiated the attack against civilians.

You may also want to have seen CNN human interest piece form a bunker in Tyre in Lebanon.
The reporter described rockets flying over the border from Israel. For a second I thought I had misheard the location of this shelter. It was Israel that was under nightly rocket attack from Lebanon.
Watching only CNN one would think that Israel was gleefully slaughtering Lebanese civilians out of some twisted Jewish spite and an over-reaction to kidnapping on two soldiers.
That Israel has been under constant attack for months is completely ignored.
